Out Of The Box Women’s Encounter Event

Hello Ladies,

I so love hearing all of the testimonies and reports after the conference! Many of you have also shared with me privately and it is so encouraging to see you were not only encouraged at the conference, but you are still gleaning from it weeks later. I just feel so honored to have shared the time with all of you precious ladies! The Lord is doing something mighty in women and I believe we will all be surprised in the days ahead at women's role for the purposes of God to be brought forth!!!

There are many things the Lord has done and spoken since the conference and I do believe that it was a key element to things clicking into alignment. I never dreamed that you all would like the B.I.R.D.S prayer model!!! I almost didn't bring my teaching outline for it, but felt prompted to. I always felt like it was a bit cheesy and never had shared it publicly before. It was so good to be refreshed in my own spirit with it's simplistic and powerful effects. I have been so shocked how all of you were impacted by it!

Some of the ladies on my team that were at the conference were also impacted by the B.I.R.D.S prayer model. Since then, we have modified our advocacy training to incorporate it in a side-by-side teaching of both prayer and application throughout all 6 core competencies of our child advocacy training. This advocacy training is being produced on an online platform and will be going out nationwide in early 2022. We have over 500 hours of professional collaboration in it's development and shockingly the B.I.R.D.S prayer model was a key element to tying it all together! Who knew!!! Haha!!!

Also, one of the ladies shared with me a dream she had after that first night of the conference. The summary was that I only had 2 months to get ready for something urgent. I had been praying about a particular urgent topic for most of 2021 asking the Lord for timing. I am still walking out if that dream is correlated, but the urgency in my spirit to prepare for it has only grown. So, in obedience I am urgently working on what I am sensing are urgent tasks before me. That is very challenging with the demands of life, but I am determined to set my face like a flint and pour myself into doing everything I can possibly do to respond to the timing of this lady's dream and just trust the Lord to make up whatever I am lacking.

The prophetic can be very "interesting" to walk out. I have learned that prophetic words or dreams aren't my guide, but should always confirm what the Lord has already been speaking and doing. Her dream had the same urgency that my spirit does about this particular matter. All I can do now is walk in obedience to the Lord's direction and not put my faith in the timeline of the dream, but in a God who is strategic! His leadership is perfect no matter what it looks like to the natural eye.

As you, I am pouring myself out to walk out what the Lord has spoken and done. Remember, it won't be perfect and many times it may not seem like it makes sense. This is about simplistic obedience, not our sacrifice or our perfection in doing it. Just start doing what God has led you to do! You will learn as you go! You will grow as you go! You will hear His voice better and you will begin to more quickly recognize His direction as you walk it out! Just do what He says and follow His voice amid the noise of your emotions and other's opinions. It is worth it!!! Keep running hard women of God, He is the prize that is ALWAYS worth pursuing!!!!

Hello Ladies,

The Out of the Box Women's Encounter firmly established that ONE THING God assigned me to do for a season, made me fully aware of it, clarified the related elements in it, helped me hold it securely, and fight for those assignment elements. I know I would not have accomplished what I have or do it as well as I should have, had it not been for the Encounter. I am more steadfast and resolute about what God has placed in my hands to do, and remain focused. Distractions from that course are easier to identify and avoid. The enemy has been on the attack, also, and the Encounter put my feet on solid footing to withstand the trials.

The timing of OUT OF THE BOX was critical to the success I have seen. I trust the same is true of all of you.

Another sister at the Encounter said her One Thing was to learn to be still and not strive so much. I took that WORD as well, and saw it manifest in my life. God is slowing me down also, and  preparing the way ahead of me, making my path easier, and more effective. The Spirit spoke to me this past week about his creatures, the sloths, reminding me that He made the sloth slow on purpose and with great love. In the sloth, He shows His children that slow is good for humans at times. 

Come to think of it, all of you at the Encounter had things to say that blessed my life in profound ways. I think about everything we said and did and how it influences my life daily. Super powerful!

We want to spend more time in prayer and listening to the Lord for his direction and perfect timing in all our ways. Meditation on God's will in these assignments saves us so much stress and time, makes us calm and at peace. That takes considerable mental preparation. The B.I.R.D.S. model for prayer, especially the teaching on Intercession and Declaration has helped with a family matter with my daughter. And the presence of the Holy Spirit has been so strong since the Encounter.

Think back on what has happened to you since October 22/23 and email what you have experienced. How have you handled your circumstances and projects in the past month? What has the Holy Spirit shown you? Have you been threatened by the enemy? Do you need specific encouragement? The email group is meant to give encouragement and support to all. God is moving greatly in this group, and we want to keep that movement going forward.

Hedda Sutherland made a powerful statement at the Encounter that I took to heart. "I want to find the one thing that does the most damage to the enemy as possible." That is how I want to approach my assignment, which is building community awareness of Neighborhood Transformation and establishing NT groups citywide. I prayed for doors of communication to open. They did. Women reached out for information on NT and IIAW and Unity Center activities for the homeless Beloveds. A pastor friend asked me to gather my neighbors together so he might determine what support he would have in establishing in our neighborhood a vocational training program for vetted individuals coming out of homeless culture. Gaining sufficient support, he purchased a school building in the neighborhood with plans to follow through with that project. Since the Encounter, a woman sought me out and established the first NT group in her neighborhood on S. Crysler. I don't say this to boast. It is not me, but God who is opening the doors and moving His hand for our sakes. I am sure He is doing the same for all of you.

The idea came to present NT guidelines to larger groups, scouts, middle and high school assemblies, churches, and City Council sessions. I was asked to do a PowerPoint presentation on NT and loving our neighbors for my church retreat November 6th. The Powerpoint is available now for emailing and or group presentations. If any of you know a group that would be interested in doing a NT presentation, let me know. I will be happy to send it to all of you as well. Just let me know.

God is GOOD and mindful of the hearts of His daughters. His mercy endures forever!
