►As a people, we are very close to reaching a Zionic existence. We need to move forward by prioritizing our resources to focus together.
►Abraham purchased a plot of ground in Hebron for a burial cave for his wife Sarah. Later Abraham, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob and Leah would be buried here. Hebron was the first place of ownership for Abraham.
►The natural man and the spiritual man, cannot both inherit the Kingdom of God. The natural man must be thrown out, and reborn as the spiritual man.
►Hebron is the place where the nation of Israel comes to be led by King David, a step which is crucial in the Kingdom of God.
►One meaning of “Hebron”, is a place where we learn to relate to people, not on the basis of what they do for us, but in recognition of God’s work in bringing us together.
►Other meanings of “Hebron” include association, unity, unite, to join, companionship, association and comfort.
►The Lord has set before us a goal to unite. We cannot do this on our own, but through faith in Jesus, we can identify the strong places and weak places in our lives in order to lift up our needs to God in prayer.
►We must identify what we need to do to lay ourselves down and surrender unto God.
►Problems we may encounter include “Fear”, “Rebellion”. As families, congregations, leadership and as members, we must ask ourselves is fear controlling us and rebellion within us. These problems are likely as we strive to unite.
►We need to be leading in the spirit of forgiving and embracing, in the charge of Jesus.
►We must set aside our “hurts” and strive to unite.
►The standard for the Kingdom of God is to share love and show love openly, for family and friends to see as a witness unto God.
►We need to examine our families, with the goal of honoring each other in building up Zionic families.
►We must learn about stewardship of talent, time and treasure.
ِ►We must keep the Sabbath day holy, celebrating what we have gone through in the past week.
► We can’t just ignore our differences. We should pray that we find a way to overcome our “Fear” and “Rebellion”. Just pushing this “Fear” and “Rebellion” into the future, robs our time that we could be enjoying the Kingdom of God. We must overcome our “Fear” and “Rebellion” in order to gain unity.
►We must have commitment in striving for the Kingdom of God, committed to strive for Zion, even if it requires suffering on our part, enduring to the end.
