Psalms 105:1-5
1 Oh give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the people.
2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him;
talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in his holy name;
let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Seek the Lord, and his strength; seek his face evermore.
5 Remember his marvelous works that he hath done;
his wonders and the judgments of his mouth;

Jeremiah 31:3
3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea,
I have loved thee with an everlasting love;
therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn thee.

Romans 8:35-39
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution,
or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long;
we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more
than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 3:17-19
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;
that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints
what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

Genesis 7:35-39
35 And it came to pass, that the God of heaven looked upon
the residue of the people, and wept; and Enoch bore record of it,
saying, How is it that the heavens weep, and shed forth their tears
as the rain upon the mountains? And Enoch said unto the Lord,
How is it that thou canst weep, seeing thou art holy,
and from all eternity to all eternity?
36 And were it possible that man could number
the particles of the earth, yea, and millions of earths like this,
it would not be a beginning to the number of thy creations;
37 And thy curtains are stretched out still, and thou art there,
and thy bosom is there; and also, thou art just,
thou art merciful and kind forever;
38 Thou hast taken Zion to thine own bosom, from all thy creations,
from all eternity to all eternity; and naught but peace, justice,
and truth is the habitation of thy throne;
and mercy shall go before thy face and have no end.
How is it that thou canst weep?
39 The Lord said unto Enoch, Behold, these thy brethren,
they are the workmanship of mine own hands,
and I gave unto them their intelligence
in the day that I created them.

Matthew 23:36-37
36 Then Jesus began to weep over Jerusalem, saying,
37 O Jerusalem! Jerusalem! Ye who will kill the prophets,
and will stone them who are sent unto you;
how often would I have gathered your children together,
even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not.

Romans 5:8
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 15:13
13 Greater love hath no man than this,
that a man lay down his life for his friends

Mosiah 2:28-43
28 And also, ye yourselves will succor those
that stand in need of your succor;
ye will administer of your substance unto him that standeth in need;
29 And ye will not suffer that the beggar
putteth up his petition to you in vain, and turn him out to perish.
30 Perhaps thou shalt say, The man has brought upon himself his misery;
therefore I will stay my hand, and will not give unto him of my food,
nor impart unto him of my substance, that he may not suffer,
for his punishments are just.
31 But I say unto you, O man, whosoever doeth this,
the same hath great cause to repent;
and except he repenteth of that which he hath done,
he perisheth for ever, and hath no interest in the kingdom of God.
32 For behold, are we not all beggars?
Do we not all depend upon the same being, even God,
for all the substance which we have; for both food, and raiment,
and for gold, and for silver,
and for all the riches which we have of every kind?
33 And behold, even at this time, ye have been calling on his name,
and begging for a remission of your sins.
34 And has he suffered that ye have begged in vain?
35 Nay; he has poured out his Spirit upon you,
and has caused that your hearts should be filled with joy,
and has caused that your mouths should be stopped,
that ye could not find utterance, so exceeding great was your joy.
36 And now, if God, who has created you,
on whom you are dependent for your lives,
and for all that ye have and are, doth grant unto you
whatsoever ye ask that is right, in faith, believing
that ye shall receive, O then, how had ye ought to impart
of the substance that ye have, one to another?
37 And if ye judge the man who putteth up his petition
to you for your substance, that he perish not, and condemn him,
how much more just will be your condemnation,
for withholding your substance, which doth not belong to you,
but to God, to whom also, your life belongeth;
38 And yet ye put up no petition,
nor repent of the thing which thou hast done.
39 I say unto you, wo be unto that man,
for his substance shall perish with him; and now,
I say these things unto those who are rich,
as pertaining to the things of this world.
40 And again, I say unto the poor,
ye who have not and yet have sufficient,
that ye remain from day to day; I mean all you who deny the beggar,
because ye have not; I would that ye say in your hearts,
that I give not because I have not; but if I had, I would give.
41 And now, if ye say this in your hearts, ye remain guiltless,
otherwise ye are condemned, and your condemnation is just;
for ye covet that which ye have not received.
42 And now, for the sake of these things which I have spoken unto you;
that is, for the sake of retaining a remission of your sins
from day to day, that ye may walk guiltless before God,
43 I would that ye should impart of your substance to the poor,
every man according to that which he hath, such as feeding the hungry,
clothing the naked, visiting the sick,
and administering to their relief,
both spiritually and temporally, according to their wants,

Revelation 21:1-5
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven
and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,
coming down from God out of heaven,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain;
for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said,
Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me,
Write; for these words are true and faithful.

Sermon Focus Points
►Jesus was crucified on the cross so that each and every one of us may be saved.
►God has experienced deep sadness due to our sins. God knew we would sin, but he created us anyway.
►God knew that Jesus would be crucified for our sins, even before we were created, but he created us anyway.
►God’s love for us is so immense, it is impossible to fully understand.
►God has commanded not to stand in judgement of others, but to give of the things that God has given us, to those in need.
►When we help others, we not only administer to their temporal needs, but we show them the love of God, to help meet their spiritual needs.
►When we shine a light in the darkness of this world, we can bring people to a knowledge of the great love of God.
►Focus on how the God that created everything, loves you as an individual.
►Think of ways to show the immense love of God, even if you believe what you would do is a small thing.
►Remember, when showing the love of God, there are no small acts.
