Sermon Focus Points
►Often laws are referenced to as either “Temporal” or “Spiritual”, but in reality, all laws given by God are “Spiritual” laws.
►All things are created spiritually in heaven before ever being present on the earth.
►No matter what we are doing or where we are, we are present in a “Spiritual Kingdom”.
►The temporal law we are given, which is a spiritual law, requires equality.
►Deep down, we know where we spend our money, and whether or not that which we buy is really a need, or it is simply something we want.
►When we buy something that is not a need, we should look at the needs of our family and our church family, and decide if spending that money on our own wants will leave others without their basic needs.
►One of the truths about the spiritual law, is that if we follow it, we will be a joyous people, of one heart and one mind.
►Physical things tend to divide us, as we place our worth in those physical things. The money we make and the possessions we have, all to often lead us to compare our worth to others.
►As we place our worth in physical things, we remove ourselves from the “Spiritual Law”, where we are all equal in God’s eyes.
►What does wealth really mean to God? God uses wealth to bless his children, who in turn bless others
►When money becomes that which we esteem, money takes us away from God.
►There are three financial conditions: 1) You have a need, 2) You have enough, 3) You have a surplus.
►How do we serve out of our surplus…by always giving our best, whether it be talents, time, or financial surplus.
►Freedom Steward Ministries is an ideal way to to share your surplus, and provide blessings to others.
