Mosiah 11:128-132
128 And he that will hear my voice, shall be my sheep;
and him shall ye receive into the church;
and him will I also receive.
129 For behold, this is my church:
whosoever is baptized, shall be baptized unto repentance.
130 And whosoever ye receive,
shall believe in my name; and him will I freely forgive:
131 For it is I that taketh upon me the sins of the world;
for it is I that hath created them;
and it is I that granteth unto him
that believeth in the end, a place at my right hand.
132 For behold, in my name are they called;
and if they know me, they shall come forth,
and shall have a place eternally at my right hand.
Luke 5:17-26
17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching,
that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by,
who were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem.
And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
18 And behold, men brought in a bed, a man who was taken with a palsy;
and they sought to bring him in, and to lay him before Jesus.
19 And when they found that they could not bring him in for the multitude,
they went upon the house-top, and let him down through the tiling,
with his couch, into the midst, before Jesus.
20 Now he saw their faith, and said unto the man, Thy sins are forgiven thee.
24…And he said unto the sick of the palsy, I say unto thee,
Arise, and take up thy couch, and go unto thy house.
25 And immediately he rose up before them,
and took up that whereon he lay,
and departed to his own house, glorifying God.
26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God,
and were filled with fear, saying,
We have seen strange things to-day.

Sermon Focus Points
►When we seek a physical blessing, let us not forgot that we can receive a spiritual blessing as well, where our sins are forgiven.
►When we receive a blessing, no matter how small, we must remember to give the glory to God.
►Jesus did not come to earth to condemn, but to offer salvation.
►Everyday, we have the opportunity to seek God.
►Baptism is the mechanism by which we “apply” the shed blood of Jesus to cleanse our sins.
►God calls us to repent of our sins, not to feel bad about ourselves, but to become children of God.
►The world is full of signs of the end times. No man knows when Jesus will return, therefore, we should live our lives fully ready for the return of Christ.
►Allow yourself to be vulnerable and seek help from your fellow Christians.
