Sermon Focus Points
►As you examine your life, a transformation needs to occur to become more Christlike, in order to dwell with Christ for eternity.
►Transforming your life can be likened to moving to a new home, with as many as seven phases you may need to incorporate into your life.
~Moving Phase 1: Throw away or give away…(Spiritual Equivalent-examine your life for things that don’t matter, and remove them from your life.)
~Moving Phase 2: Declutter…(Spiritual Equivalent-remove habits that are not kingdom building, replacing with good habits.)
~Moving Phase 3: Remove non-essentials that you want to keep…(Spiritual Equivalent-organize and file scriptural references, where they are easy to refer to. Keep scriptural concordances easily accessible.)
~Moving Phase 4: Keep home clean for showings…(Spiritual Equivalent-don’t let old habits sneak back into your life.)
~Moving Phase 5: Move to new home…(Spiritual Equivalent-take positive steps to increase your time with God.)
~Moving Phase 6: Unpack in an orderly fashion, bringing things deliberately into the new house…(Spiritual Equivalent-search the scriptures for precious truths, and incorporate them into your life.)
~Moving Phase 7: Make final decisions about those things you want in your new home, leaving out those things that really don’t matter…(Spiritually Equivalent-they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. Titus 3:8-9)
►Our time on earth is a probationary state, where we need to sanctify ourselves that our minds become single to God, working toward Zion, where we all experience one heart and mind, with no poor among us, living and dwelling in righteousness.
