Living Hope Value
Loving
Love God fully. Love others faithfully.
We desire to be a branch shaped by the Great Commandment in all we do. Love for God and love for our neighbor should be visible in our worship, fellowship, service, and witness. We want the love of Christ to be something people experience when they are among us.
We choose patience, kindness, forgiveness, humility, and sacrificial care in our relationships with one another.
Matthew 22:36-38 — Love God with all thy heart, and love thy neighbor as thyself.

Involved in Church and Community
Faith that participates, serves, and shows up.
We believe the joy of knowing the Lord should be visible in the way we participate in the life of the church and the needs of the community around us. Faith is not meant to remain hidden or isolated. As followers of Christ, we seek to be present, faithful, helpful, and engaged wherever God gives us opportunity to serve.
We faithfully support the life of the church, look for needs around us, and serve our community with joy, humility, and the love of Christ.
Matthew 5:16 — Let your light shine so others may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Victorious
Worship with joy because Christ has overcome.
We believe our worship should be a celebration of the joy and victory we have in Jesus Christ. Because of Him, we can come before God with gratitude, hope, courage, and praise. Even in times of trial, we remember that Christ has overcome the world and calls His people to live in the strength of His victory.
We worship with thankfulness, encourage one another with hope, and choose to remember that our confidence is found in Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57 — Thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Inviting
Open hearts. Open doors. Open witness.
We believe that as saints grow in their relationship with Christ, they should be encouraged to reach out to others in their witness of Jesus Christ. An inviting spirit is more than welcoming someone into a building; it is making room for others in our fellowship, our conversations, our service, and our lives. We desire to be a branch where people are warmly invited to come unto Christ and grow in Him.
We welcome others with kindness, look for opportunities to share our faith, and invite people into worship, fellowship, study, and service.

Nurturing
Helping faith take root and grow.
We believe the body of Christ must be nurtured through consistent prayer, scripture study, accountability, care, and training. Spiritual growth does not happen by accident; it is cultivated through faithful habits, loving support, and a willingness to walk together. We desire to help one another become deeply rooted in Christ and strengthened for His work.
We encourage prayer, study the word of God, care for one another, and help each person grow in faith, understanding, and service.
Ephesians 4:12 — For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Gladsome
The joy of the Lord made visible.
We believe that we should be a people who demonstrate the joy of the Lord in our lives. This joy is deeper than outward happiness; it is confidence in God’s goodness, mercy, promises, and presence. We desire to be a branch where worship, fellowship, service, and daily living are marked by gratitude, hope, and gladness in Christ.
We choose gratitude, offer encouragement, worship with joy, and let the hope of Christ be seen in our attitude, words, and relationships.
Nehemiah 8:10 — For the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Helping in Service
Love made practical. Faith made visible.
We believe that helping others shows the love of Christ in a real and tangible way. Service gives visible form to faith and allows the care of Christ to be experienced through willing hands, humble hearts, and practical kindness. We desire to be a branch that looks for opportunities to bear burdens, meet needs, and serve others in the spirit of Jesus.
We serve with humility, respond to real needs, bear one another’s burdens, and show the love of Christ through practical acts of kindness.
Matthew 25:41 — Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Order
Guided by God’s word and direction.
We believe in the consistency of the Lord’s work and that God has provided standards by which His people can discern His direction. The Bible, the Book of Mormon, and the Doctrine and Covenants help guide our faith, worship, conduct, and understanding of God’s will. By studying the word of God, we learn how to know Him, glorify Him, and walk more faithfully in His ways.
We seek God’s direction through scripture, prayer, worship, and faithful obedience, allowing His word to shape our decisions, priorities, and service.
Psalm 119:105 — Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Preparing
Living ready to meet the Lord.
We believe this life is a time to prepare to meet God. Preparation includes learning to live in humility, love, obedience, watchfulness, and faith. We also live in hope and readiness for the return of Jesus Christ to the earth, seeking each day to become more fully prepared for His kingdom.
We seek to live with humble hearts, faithful choices, repentant spirits, and a readiness to follow Christ in both daily life and eternal hope.
Matthew 24:45 — Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Encouraging
Walking together in faith, care, and hope.
We believe the association of the Saints is essential to the spiritual journey. In Christian fellowship, we are known, cared for, held accountable, and encouraged as we follow Jesus Christ together. Through worship, friendship, recreation, service, and shared faith, we help one another continue faithfully with Christ.
We encourage one another through prayer, fellowship, friendship, accountability, and words that strengthen faith, lift burdens, and point others toward Christ.
Hebrews 10:24–25 — Let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.
